BEAUZ’s new release “Antisocial” starts off slow and depressing (as the title would suggest) but quickly picks up. With quality vocals from Heather Sommer, this is a laid back track that most 20-somethings can relate to after a long week of work.
When we covered “Lost” off of Illenium’s most recent album, Awake, we made the strong recommendation to listen through the whole album. In case you haven’t, here’s another one of the amazing tracks off of it.
“Fractures”, featuring Nevve, was released about a year ago in earlier 2017 as one of the first singles off of the album prior to it’s full release later in 2017. The call and answer between the vocals and guitar melody line leading up to the chorus synths showcase Illenium’s talent in producing breathtaking melodic bass. This is Illenium at his best and is an absolute blast to hear performed live. If you haven’t heard it before, check it out. If you have, enjoy it again and again.

Flyme has only been producing for a few years now, but his natural talent for beat making is impressive. Originally from New Hampshire, but now living in Boston, Flyme mostly produces hip hop and rap beats while dabbling into chill electronic and alternative rock styles from time to time. “We Are Now” is a laid back track with a soothing melody that showcases the best of what he has to offer.

Off of Sam Feldt’s remix only album After The Sunset, the club mix of “Wishing Well” speeds the track and adds in Sam Feldt’s classic synth sound in the chorus. One of the pitfalls that he manages to avoid here is having the vocals feel out of place once they’re sped up. Personally, we like the up-tempo version of this song as it brings that much more energy to an already bright song. Check it out!
