Song of the Day: Spectrum (Arty Remix) – Zedd

We’re bringing an old one back into the spotlight today with Arty’s remix of Zedd’s “Spectrum”. “Spectrum” is a track that new fans of Zedd and electronic music may not be as familiar with unless you’ve seen his live sets as it is a staple in those. It’s the quintessential true Zedd sound from when he first emerged into the spotlight and one that many wish he would return to instead of the pop-forward sound he produces today.

Arty took this track and put his own progressive house influence on it while retaining the shape of the vocals that made the original so enthralling. The build up is a little longer than the original, which in a way makes the drop that much more satisfying. It’s really a tough call to say which version is better. Take a listen to Arty’s version below.
