Curbi and Tchami team up for their first collaboration in “Make Amends”, a bouncy future house track off of the Spinnin’ Records label featuring vocals from Kyan Palmer. Curbi, out of the UK, put out 10 tracks in 2020 and is off to a great early 2021 teaming up with the house master Tchami. Take a listen!

Song of the Day: Bout U – AVE & EFX

“Bout U” has one of the most satisfying second drops imaginable. The first drop is borderline false with the chopped up synths not giving the full, powerful effect. The minimal first drop is what makes the second so, so satisfying as it fills in the gaps that you audibly wanted the first time around. The chorus is so smooth and a great juxtaposition to the slow verses. Overall, the track is a good blend of chill and driving which is quite a difficult effect to pull-off. Song of the Day: Gecko (Overdrive) – Oliver Heldens

One of Oliver Helden’s first tracks that put him on the map, “Gecko”, later to be re-named “Overdrive” when the vocals from Becky Hill were added, clearly displays his early talents as a producer. A little background on this track: The Dutch artist, widely regarded as one of the pioneers of the future house genre, was signed by Tiesto’s label Musical Freedom after Tiesto heard this track. They later collaborated together to create “The Right Song”. Take a listen below!

The instrumental version is included in Ryse Radio Ep. 7, fitting together seemlessly with Jauz’s “Meant To Love You” as if they were meant to be together…

Song of the Day: World to Me (ft. Luke James) – Tchami

Tchami’s style blends a few different genres together and that’s why he’s able to make sure a unique sound that’s distinct to his productions.

“World to Me”, featuring Luke James, blends a familiar house style with deep house and even almost a tropical house sound with the main instrument in the chorus.
