Best Cheap Sunglasses That Don’t Look Cheap

Look. Your sunglasses are going to break. It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when. “No, I’m going to be really careful with this expensive pair” you tell yourself time and time again. But then they break. So here are a few places you can get sunglasses that look just as good, if not better than that designer pair, but won’t leave that sinking feeling in your stomach when you find that scratch or have them knocked off your face and then stepped on a festival. Here’s our guide for the best cheap sunglasses.

The Best Cheap Sunglasses Guide

Knockaround

You can probably tell by the name, but Knockarounds are designed to be both affordable and stylish. Coming in all of the classic frame styles, Knockarounds are a solid choice if you’re looking to save money. One of the best parts of their site is the customization you can put on a pair. While it’s a little more expensive to do so, it’s nice to be able to get exactly what you want. The best advice we can give is to sign up for their email list as they will constantly throw out promotions and discounts that make it even that much more affordable.

Price range: $15-$35

J.Crew Factory

While the regular J.Crew site still sells sunglasses for north of $50, which isn’t all too pricey, you can get great deals on sunglasses from the factory/outlet side of their site. For example, the men’s style shown above looks just like a pair of Ray Ban’s, but they’re actually only $15. Unless people get up close, they’ll never be able to tell the difference. You can also sometimes get discounts which can drive the price even lower. One negative aspect is that their styles tend to be somewhat limited on the factory site as compared to the full price site.

Price range: $13-$20

Sunski

Climbing up the price point a bit, we arrive at Sunski. While these are priced starting at $50 and up, Sunki’s styles are undeniably cool and will have all of your friends asking where you go those shades from. All of the styles have polarized lenses and they even offer a lifetime warranty which makes it a very attractive spot to pick up your next pair.

Price range: $48-$50

Warby Parker

With free shipping each way, you get the chance to actually wear them before you decide if you want to keep them, which is always ideal. These are pushing the limit on what some would be consider to be cheap as most of the sunglasses they have are around $95. If you’ve typically been better than average on keeping sunglasses, Warby Parker could be the site for you.

Price range: $95-$145

ASOS

ASOS carries a huge selection of sunglasses from the very cheap and all the way up to the designer pairs. With that, a quick *sort by price: low to high” will place you where you want to be looking. The ASOS brand specific sunglasses are what we recommend as they’re stylish and very reasonably priced. As mentioned, the mass selection of lower priced sunglasses on this site is the best part, just make sure you’re picking out ones with polarized lenses.

Price range: $13-expensive

That’s our list for the best cheap sunglasses although there are other sites we considered that didn’t quite make the list like Komono, Woodzee, Spy, and Spitfire. If you can’t find ones you like on the above list, we definitely recommend checking out those sites as well.

P.S. That first “look” in the opening paragraph was absolutely a sunglasses pun.
