Track of the Day: First Time (Gryffin Remix) – Kygo

Kygo’s sound has undoubtedly moved from tropical house to a mainstream pop sound that has tropical house influences. He’s paired up with bigger names on original tracks recently, like Selena Gomez, and here with Ellie Goulding, which does make sense why those tracks would have more of a mainstream sound as that’s what their fans expect to hear.

Gryffin adds back in a deeper electronic feel to “First Time” and brings the pace of the song up as well. Between the two versions, this one I think is the one most people would enjoy more.
