Song of the Day: Out My Mind – Tritonal

Song of the Day: Out My Mind – Tritonal

It’s honestly at the point where we could have a Song of the Day be a new track from Tritonal at least once a week. The American duo out of Austin, Texas teamed up with Riley Clemmons for “Out My Mind” and while this song has more of a pop influence than some of their other recent tracks, the chorus is where Tritonal shines as usual. A smooth song from start to finish, “Out My Mind” delivers catchy vocals in each phase of the song. As long as they keep putting out high quality tracks like this one, expect to see them on 20-somethinglife’s music page often.

Song of the Day: Spectrum (Arty Remix) – Zedd

Song of the Day: Spectrum (Arty Remix) – Zedd

We’re bringing an old one back into the spotlight today with Arty’s remix of Zedd’s “Spectrum”. “Spectrum” is a track that new fans of Zedd and electronic music may not be as familiar with unless you’ve seen his live sets as it is a staple in those. It’s the quintessential true Zedd sound from when he first emerged into the spotlight and one that many wish he would return to instead of the pop-forward sound he produces today.

Arty took this track and put his own progressive house influence on it while retaining the shape of the vocals that made the original so enthralling. The build up is a little longer than the original, which in a way makes the drop that much more satisfying. It’s really a tough call to say which version is better. Take a listen to Arty’s version below.

Song of the Day: Colors ft. Mike Posner – Cris Cab

Song of the Day: Colors ft. Mike Posner – Cris Cab

Cris Cab has flown relatively under the radar which is a shame because he consistently puts out amazing tracks. This collaboration with Mike Posner is from 2013 from his Red Road album and yet the YouTube video for it has less than 15,000 views. How is that possible? This song is a jam for sure. I know I’m personally responsible for at least 50 of those views.

Spend a few minutes checking it out below; we know you’ll love it too.

Song of the Day: Electric (R3hab Remix) – Alina Baraz ft. Khalid

Song of the Day: Electric (R3hab Remix) – Alina Baraz ft. Khalid

The Dutch producer R3hab put his spin on Alina Baraz and Khalid’s “Electric” and the result is a slow tempo, yet moving track. It’s always great to hear a remix that emphasizes the original vocals and brings them to the front instead of trying to twist them into a new sound. That’s what R3hab expertly managed to accomplish here. This is definitely worth adding to your playlist for relaxing or late at night moments.
