Ryse Radio Ep. 6

Long overdue but Ryse Radio Ep. 6 is finally here after multiple edits and re-edits. This episode truly covers many of the EDM genres moving from a funk house sound up front to big room electro and then on to melodic bass/melodic dubstep and finally ending up with an amazing drum and bass remix. You’ll also notice there are quick a few tracks that have been previously featured as a 20-somethinglife Song of the Day like “Flooded” and “Bad At Love“. The Dutch producer R3hab put his spin on Alina Baraz and Khalid’s “Electric” and the result is a slow tempo, yet moving track. It’s always great to hear a remix that emphasizes the original vocals and brings them to the front instead of trying to twist them into a new sound. That’s what R3hab expertly managed to accomplish here. This is definitely worth adding to your playlist for relaxing or late at night moments.

Boehm released “Outside Of The Lines” back in 2017 but just released a VIP mix of the song last week. Bringing in an infectious piano line, this track is the perfect uplifting song to listen to on any road trip. Take a listen below!

Song of the Day: Come Back For You (Morgan Page Remix) – Elephante

A few years ago Elephante would have been the one remixing Morgan Page. Now, with years of experience under his belt, Elephante is putting out originals that other top producers are taking note of and putting their own spin on.

Morgan Page keeps the main elements from Elephante’s original version of “Come Back For You” but adds in smooth synths in the chorus to put his characteristic sound on the remix. Truly great work from both of these producers.

Song of the Day: Going Under (Leon Lour Remix) – Borgeous

The London based producer Leon Lour takes an already great track from Borgeous in “Going Under” and adds some of his personal style to it. Playing off the soft vocals in the verse allows Leon Lour to create a more emphatic chorus by chopping the vocals and pushing the four on the floor rhythm.
